We avoid creating unnecessary reliance through a culture of transparency and education.
The perfect situation is the one where an individual doesn’t need us at all. We judge our value through a patients outcomes, regardless of our participation. If the mission gets finished with our involvement, it is just as much of a win.

Profit Incentive
The profit incentive in healthcare is uniquely corrupting to the mission.
The source of capital matters. Most capital investors do not have a business model that fits with an organization whose north star outcomes are health outcomes on a 10+ year cycle.
Execute Local
The environment within which healthcare exists heavily influences health outcomes. We prioritize deep execution at the local level, and are willing to give up size and scale to realize that goal.
